Smart Industrie: The agency at the heart of industrial digitalisation
Alexandra Desserre, Chairwoman of the Smart Industrie agency, spoke at GI 2024 about the agency's mission to support industrial companies in their digital transformation by putting people at the heart of the process.
The Smart Industrie agency, which specialises in business digitalisation strategies, focuses on two main areas: operations and infrastructure, including cyber security.
Smart Industrie's flagship method is the DILO (Day in the Life Of) method, which involves going out into the field to talk to everyone who contributes to creating value within the company. This approach enables us to identify areas for improvement and propose digital tools tailored to the specific needs of the various stakeholders.‘We propose solutions based on needs identified in the field, without any bias towards specific brands,’ explains Alexandra Desserre. This objectivity enables Smart Industrie to provide tailor-made solutions, based on precise benchmarking and appropriate demonstrations.
When it comes to cyber security, Smart Industrie applies a similar approach, working with IT players to define a clear roadmap and optimise systems. Whether in the context of project management assistance (PMA) or specific assistance on subjects such as MES or CMMS, the agency adapts its offer to the needs of companies, whether large or small.
Smart Industrie works with medium-sized companies such as Orano and Total Energy via SAFT, but also with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).‘We are committed to meeting the needs of all companies, whatever their size, because digitalisation is a challenge for everyone,’ emphasises Desserre.
With branches based in Angoulême, Bayonne and Avignon, Smart Industrie offers local, personalised support. This geographical proximity enables the agency to better understand the realities of companies and to offer support tailored to each digital transformation project. For Alexandra Desserre, the human element remains at the heart of this approach, because ‘the human element is at the heart of any digitalisation project’.
