A brief definition of the French Fab!

Julien Noronha, Executive Director in charge of communications at Bpifrance reminded GI 2024 what French Fab is all about.

Has French Fab become part of everyday vocabulary? That was the question put to Julien Noronha, Executive Director in charge of communications at Bpifrance, during GI 2024... And Julien Noronha replied: “There's still work to be done, but every day, we continue to promote it through digital, in the field and in French industries. You're familiar with French Tech. French Fab is the equivalent for industry.

He adds, “Today, everyone is familiar with French Tech. French Fab, on the other hand, brings together the French industrialists who, five years ago, created this symbol, the blue rooster. With this rooster, they wanted to say: “Tech is great, but we too need a standard, an anthem, a great team to represent French industry”. And for the past five years, we've been carrying it on a daily basis, introducing the French Fab to the French, highlighting our beautiful national industry.”

A movement that comes from the territories

“The DNA of French Fab is a collective dedicated to the reindustrialization of France, driven above all by entrepreneurs,” defines the Bpifrance director. It's a movement that comes from the territories, with players operating in a variety of business sectors, but who share common issues. We're aware of these issues by now: employment, particularly for young people and diversity, the digitization of industry, the ecological and energy transition, and exports”.
