DeepHawk

DeepHawk is a visual quality control solution for the manufacturing industry. Based on  AI, it analyzes images of products live on the production line, and detects anomalies in 15 ms. DeepHawk can detect an anomaly the size of a pixel, learns faster (30mn versus 3 weeks), is very flexible and adapts to any type of products, of cameras (multi-views, still and video images, visible spectrum , X-ray, infra-red, microscopic), and is deployed on-premise without requiring any connectivity to the outside. DeepHawk is a frugal AI, which uses much less computing resources and reduces the AI carbon footprint by a ratio of 375.

PULSE

ENTENT is developing a new solution for low temperature electricity production : The PULSE. (Currently TRL : 6)

The PULSE technology is patented, and allows the valorization of wasted heat between 60°C and 150°C. Wasted heat are currently rejected in nature without being valorized. This technology could accelerate the decarbonization of industries, while recovering lost waste and producing electricity.

To give an exemple, the valorization of all this low temperature heat around the world would make it possible to supply the entire European Union with electricity !

ACS Compact

The ACS Compact responds to the evolution of our mechanical markets and preserves the integrity of copper and aluminium parts in particular. The automotive market in particular is innovating in the production of electrical connector parts. These pieces are long and fragile. The ACS has a patented anti-shock flap to protect the parts from impacts between them. Each time a piece is received, the flap retracts and protects the piece bed from the arrival of the next one. This system allows the creation of a basket of parts in perfect autonomy and drastically reduces waste. The assembly is arranged in a box equipped with three inlets, left, right or top, facilitating its integration into all types of production means. This box is also equipped with a retention tank allowing the return of cutting oils to the machining means, thus avoiding pollution at the machine base as well as the filling of oil into the washing means.

A.I. based costing software

As a key component of our industrial sovereignty, industrial subcontractors lack efficiency in their commercial processes: time-consuming costings, errors in quotations, excessively long response times... these problems have a major impact on their day-to-day operations and their profit and loss accounts. 

Fabera's mission is to reduce quotation time by a factor of 2, by taking advantage of the sales and quotation data available within companies (quotations produced, manufacturing processes, time clocked in the workshop). 

To process a new quote, the Fabera solution enables you to : 

  1. Identify a similar quote in the user's database
  2. Import and modify the previous costing based on the data analysis.

The geometric recognition algorithm identifies similar 3D models within the subcontractor's history, then the costing engine determines the cost centers of the part to be produced. Again, based on the history, Fabera evaluates the amount associated with each cost center and proposes a formalized costing in less than 5 minutes. 

With Fabera, not only can the sales manager cost a part without determining the exact manufacturing process, but he can also process his entire request using a single tool (centralization of leads, automated reminders, KPI tracking).

This means real time savings for the subcontractor. No more late nights to draw up quotations.

Smart Program

JPB Système, a leading specialist in the manufacture of self-locking solutions for the aerospace industry, and a pioneer in Industry 4.0 thanks to the creation of digital start-up KEYPROD, has designed an innovative solution for monitoring tension in screwed assemblies: the Smart Program. 

The Smart Program is a concentrate of technologies designed to meet the control needs of critical assemblies subject to vibrations, repeated deformations, temperature variations and shocks likely to cause loosening. To overcome these constraints, JPB Système has developed a specific sensor that measures tension in assemblies in real time. The benefits of this innovation are to save maintenance time, increase safety, limit human error, automatically record checks and make progress in predictive maintenance.

The Smart Program is available in a wired version for remote monitoring, and an RFiD version for on-site monitoring. The sensors come in the form of a washer and are easy to install in assemblies. Equipped with intelligent electronics, measurements are not affected by temperature variations or distance. This ensures a high level of accuracy over the entire operating range.

The CHIMICAPT®Box, a mobile filtering unit equipped with the new METALICAPT® depolluting fiber technology, effectively and innovatively revolutionizes the decontamination of industrial waters. The METALICAPT® fibers eliminate a broad spectrum of toxic and valuable metals (Cu, Ni, Zn, Pb, Au, Cn, As, Fe, Cr III, Cr VI, Mg) as well as organic pollutants (sulfates, nitrates, cyanides, dyes, pesticides). The extremely rapid capture upon contact with the fibers makes this technology suitable for batch or continuous treatment and can replace or complement existing processes. Once saturated, the fibers are regenerable and reusable, resulting in significant savings. The application of these fibers allows the elimination of waste previously considered untreatable, thus avoiding their transport to incineration centers. SILICONE 40A RESIN

Silicone 40A Resin is the first affordable pure silicone 3D printing material that combines the excellent material properties of molded silicone with the flexibility and advantages of 3D printing. Formlabs has developed the new patent-pending Pure Silicone Technology™ to create Silicone 40A Resin, a revolutionary material that allows companies to exploit the flexibility, low cost and design freedom of 3D printing.

Conventionally manufactured silicone is expensive and labor-intensive. Silicone 40A Resin offers similar material properties for soft, flexible, and durable parts. The parts produced are capable of withstanding repeated stretching, bending, and compression cycles both for functional prototyping and for production of final parts. 

This new material allows in-house printing within a few hours of complex pure silicone parts that would be impossible to produce using conventional methods. Silicone 40A Resin parts present excellent chemical and thermal resistance and are ideally suited to automotive and industrial applications as well as to products such as wearable technology objects or medical devices subjected to repeated stretching, bending or compression. 

The properties offered by silicone are now affordable thanks to Silicone 40A Resin, an innovative 3D printing material that provides access to new applications, new products and revolutionary prototypes.

PP 6000

Abbé errors have a negative effect on machine tool accuracy. Measuring them is normally difficult, but not with the PP 6000 two-coordinate encoder. Using a single scanning head, this encoder measures two directions simultaneously across a 464 mm x 464 mm field, with larger fields available upon request. By measuring the tool center point directly, it allows you to minimize Abbé errors and improve the accuracy of your machine. Its dual position feedback is transmitted over a single cable using the EnDat 3 interface, thereby reducing your cabling and setup work. Optimize the dynamic behavior of your motion system with the PP 6000.

KTMBS grommet – KVT Split cable glands

The icotek split cable glands enable the transit of connectorised cables or complete cable harnesses. In contrast to conventional cable glands the connector doesn’t have to be cut off the cable in advance and be re-connected afterwards. Thus, the cable manufacturer's warranty remains and you save a lot of assembly time. 
But also electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic lines without connectors as well as corrugated conduits and hoses can be easily routed, sealed and strain relieved using split cable glands.

Judisc

Alongside tire wear and the combustion of fossil fuels, brake wear is considered to be one of the causes of the high levels of particulate matter pollution (e.g. in large cities) caused by all vehicles with combustion engines and electric motors.
Tight limits have been defined as part of the Euro 7 limits. The automotive industry therefore needs alternative technical solutions to reduce brake abrasion.
With the hard coating of brake discs, a standard process is available for conventional cast brake discs that enables a reduction in brake-related particulate emissions. 
With this pioneering process, JUNKER is providing decisive impetus in the field of brake disc grinding. After coating, the brake disc is simultaneously machined on its hard friction surfaces with two opposing grinding wheels during highly productive circumferential grinding. This innovative manufacturing process achieves consistently high machinability even with low process forces, resulting in a gentle grinding process that is unbeatably economical in terms of grinding wheel wear. Another advantage is the fast process speeds, which guarantee high productivity. Years of grinding experience have resulted in a homogeneous and mirrored surface of the friction rings, with precise axial run-out, minimal thickness deviations (DTV) and perfect parallelism.

The Mitutoyo Roundtracer Extreme, one of a kind! The new Roundtracer Extreme is an advanced CNC measuring system covering all aspects of shape, orientation, position and runout tolerancing. This high-end quality assurance machine integrates shape deviation, profile and surface finish functions in a single device.
Mitutoyo launches a system that consolidates processes and improves productivity by combining multiple measurement methods. Called Roundtracer Extreme, the machine is capable of carrying out different types of measurement (shape deviation, profile and roughness) in tandem with the already well-known Mitutoyo software.
The system is equipped with technology developed to improve the efficiency of measurement tasks at any point. To do this, Mitutoyo has activated continuous automatic measurement by improving flexibility thanks to a 3-level motorized sliding axis, a detector and a support, capable of modifying the angle of the stylus. This allows users to easily measure sections of any shape or size, while avoiding interference from the part.
To improve repeatability and reproducibility, advancements have been made in the table rotation structure to reduce any change in part position during measurement.
The Roundtracer Extreme is destined to become the new benchmark for multiple measurements in quality departments. Ready for applications supporting a wide variety of parts, it will perform efficient, high-precision measurements.

ErgoLife

ErgoLife is a simple and effective tool for “on-the-fly” postural measurement and mapping in the workplace.
The ErgoLife solution consists of expert software, a tablet to provide field mobility and small motion sensors (upper body or full body) worn by the operator without any hindrance of movement or bulky clothing.
It can be implemented in six quick steps guided by the highly intuitive software interface, allowing it to be used both by ergonomics experts (OSH specialists, ergonomists, occupational physicians, etc.)  and by non-experts (production managers, design offices, Methods and Continuous Improvement departments, etc.).
This objective approach based on metrology provides factual and reproducible measurements which are much more reliable and accurate than simple observation of activity or video analysis.
The hierarchy of risks for the operator is available as soon as the recording is completed, allowing immediate characterization of the constraints of the workstation and facilitating on-the-job exchanges with the operators concerned.
ErgoLife is also a powerful tool for training employees in best practices, providing them with simple and convincing visual feedback.

LASER cleaning robotic cell

LASCAM has developed an innovative laser cleaning solution for metals and polymers. Unlike traditional methods such as chemical or mechanical cleaning, laser cleaning ensures unmatched precision without altering the base material. Integrated into our robotic cell, this homogeneous technology represents a significant advancement in surface preparation before painting, ensuring uniform and high-quality results while meeting tight cycle times. Products first pass through a detection portal to identify geometry, then are loaded into the cell with the necessary program. Once inside, the product is immobilized with millimeter precision, ensuring precise and repeatable laser cleaning. Robots then activate to spray contamination, ensuring surface tensions exceeding 60 mN/m, well above conventional cleanings.
Laser technology can clean thousands of mm² per second, with adjustable speed based on cleanliness criteria, pollutants to remove, and the type of laser source used. Finally, laser technology is a future-oriented solution perfectly aligned with Industry 4.0 principles. Not only does it offer increased efficiency and consistent quality, but it also reduces water and energy consumption, providing a modern and eco-friendly solution.
