Stakeholder Forum 2018 - Digitising European Industry

As part of the Digitising European Industry initiative, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (Directorate-General for Enterprise) and the European Commission (DG CONNECT) are co-organising, together with the organisers of the GLOBAL INDUSTRIe Fair, the 2nd Stakeholder Forum of the Digitising European Industry initiative. It will take place on 27 and 28 March 2018 as part of the GLOBAL INDUSTRIE exhibition at the Villepinte Exhibition Centre. The juxtaposition of these two events aims to bring international visibility to French industry, and to serve as a showcase for the expertise of national industry initiatives, including the Alliance pour l'Industrie du Futur and La French Fab for France.

This three-half-day event will bring together around 500 people (Directors General, CEOs of large companies, local authorities, etc.), with the Secretary of State for Economic Affairs and Finance, Delphine Gény-Stephann, and the Commissioner in charge of Digital Affairs, Mariya Gabriel, opening the event. The agenda will consist of a plenary session and several parallel workshops on several aspects of the industry's digital transformation (funding, e-skills, public-private partnerships, digitisation platforms, digital innovation hubs).

The objective of this annual Forum, open to all, is to discuss concrete digitisation actions in Europe to ensure that as many companies as possible, anywhere in Europe, regardless of their economic sector and size, take into consideration digital technologies into account in their own transformation.

Are you interested in the digital transformation of your company? Would you like to know what the European Commission is doing about the industry of the future? Are you a local or national player in the digitization of industry?
